The Story

A county initiative, told as a community story.

North Shore Networks is a locally owned internet provider based in Medina, designing, building, and operating Orleans County’s county-owned wireless broadband network—funded by an $11.56 million grant awarded to the county by New York State through the ConnectALL Municipal Infrastructure Program—alongside Orleans Community Connects and the residents and businesses the network is built to serve.

The charge for the film was clear: show why reliable high-speed internet matters in every town—not as a product pitch, but as a county initiative closing the digital divide for farms, families, and main streets that were left waiting too long.

Our Approach

Partners, people, and the places the network reaches.

Frame Content House produced a long-form Connected Orleans film (4:47) and four social cutdowns shaped for the feed—including Connected Orleans | Rise Above (0:38). The work frames North Shore Networks inside the larger partnership—county, community, and state—so viewers see the initiative, not a brand commercial alone.

Interviews and on-the-ground storytelling put faces to the infrastructure: the crews building sites, the neighbors waiting on a connection, and the organizations helping residents get online and stay skilled once they are.

Built for the feed

Four social cutdowns ready to travel

Alongside the long-form film, Frame Content House delivered four social cutdowns so the same story could move quickly across North Shore Networks’ channels and partner shares. Featured here: Connected Orleans | Rise Above —one of the four.

Built to travel

The long-form film and four social cutdowns were made to move with the initiative—on North Shore Networks’ website and social media, through Orleans Community Connects, and via county media outlets—so residents hear about reliable high-speed internet where they already look for local news.
